But when we talk about rock and roll music, it's really hard to know and understand the true history and the true meaning of it. This is because rock and roll music has been changing and evolving since it was invented in the 1920s. I used to believe that people of this time lived a very simple life with no technology or entertainment, until I learned about this great American invention called rock music. Rock music is an innovative type of music that was created by African American musicians mostly during the 1950s of United States. Although there are still some debate over who invented this genre, many people say that Chuck Berry is the first person who came up with this genre of music. Chuck Berry is known as the "father of rock and roll" because he had a lot of influence on the early rock and roll music. He was born in 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri and later on moved to Chicago, Illinois to pursue his career in music. It was there where he created some of the most influential Blues Rock songs ever heard by people all over the world. Chuck Berry is an important person in American history because he has influenced thousands of different musicians around the world even up to this day. He is very famous for the Rock and Roll songs he wrote at that time in The World. Some of his most influential songs are Maybellene in 1956, Johnny B. Goode in 1958, Roll Over Beethoven in 1959, Memphis in 1960, Twinklin' Star in 1972, and Night train in 1973. I used to think that I knew everything about music when it comes to rock n roll music until I read this book called "Ramblin' Man - Rediscovering the Life and Legacy of Chuck Berry." This book was written by Charles Piersol sometime back back when he was around 75 years old. He interviewed some of the people who were influenced by Chuck Berry's music during his last days. People like Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones, Berry himself, and Bob Dylan who was a hero to rock music for a long time knew a lot about Chuck Berry because of his great influence. Everyone else from his family, including his children and other people close to him also contributed to this book by telling their own stories about him. The things I learned from this book is that he went through a lot of hard times when he was younger because he had bad grades in school because of skipping classes very often. He even had to go back home after being expelled from his school for beating up another boy during recess. cfa1e77820
